Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRaytheon is seeking a Senior Systems RF/Hardware Engineer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and modernization of advanced RF ground systems engineering activities for satellite communications systems. This is a senior technical Operations and Maintenance (O&M) role. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of complex systems that support secure networks and program objectives. Location: Aurora, CO (Buckley)\nWhat You Will Do\nAssemble and install various electrical components into equipment racks for deployment in data transfer nodes connected to secure networks.\nPerform routine maintenance tasks, including visual inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and periodic checks of status indicators for antenna systems.\nConduct lifecycle system upgrades, including modernization of hardware, software, HVAC, and electrical systems.\nGenerate, analyze, track, and manage requirements to ensure system performance and compliance.\nDevelop, read, and maintain RF system schematics, block diagrams, system analyses, system Bill of Materials (BOMs), and design review packages.\nSupport emergency repair trips with little or no advanced notice and provide after-hours call-in support as needed.\nWork at heights and successfully complete safety requirements for antenna/tower climber training (training provided).\nCollaborate with design teams to influence performance and cost trade-offs for engineering changes and technology upgrades.\nApply technical expertise to develop new operational concepts, implement architecture changes, and enhance efficiency within existing systems.\nSupport vendor coordination for timely repair and tracking of critical operational hardware.\nTravel occasionally, both CONUS and OCONUS, to support program objectives.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.\nExperience supporting RF ground systems engineering activities for satellite communications systems\nExperience in generating, analyzing, tracking, and managing requirements.\nundefined\nExperience with RF systems engineering, including reading, developing, and maintaining schematics and block diagrams, system analyses, system Bill of Materials (BOMs), and design review packages.\nAn active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
