The ideal candidate has foundational professional experience in software development and is looking to deepen their expertise in platform-focused and compute-framework technologies.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop software components that provide core compute-platform services, including data transport, scheduling, and processing orchestration\n\nImplement and maintain frameworks enabling scalable, high-throughput, and low-latency processing pipelines\n\nSupport definition and documentation of platform interfaces, APIs, and data flows under guidance from senior engineers\n\nIntegrate software across Linux-based compute nodes and heterogeneous processing environments (CPU/GPU/accelerators)\n\nManage and configure Linux OS environments and containerized runtime systems (Docker/Podman) to support platform deployment and operation\n\nParticipate in Agile development activities and CI/CD pipeline operations\n\nAssist in performance profiling and optimization of compute workloads\n\nTroubleshoot software issues within multi-process or distributed compute environments\n\nContribute to improvements in platform tools, workflows, and software development practices\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience\n\nExperience in at least one systems-level programming language (e.g., C, C++, or Rust) and developing software in Linux environments.\n\nExperience with real-time, platform, or low-level system development concepts.\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and/or DevSecOps practices and working within Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).\n\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
