Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for purchase and/or sourcing process RFQ and cost data for production and development Lavs within an agreed and defined strategy in support of cost, quality, and delivery targets.\nResponsible in suppliers set up including necessary approvals in compliance to company standards.\nManage price books and cost variances. \nSupport standard cost-roll activities.\nAnalyze demand and pricing to set appropriate order quantities and batch size.\nSupport Design activities and execute these plans.\nIdentify cost reduction opportunities and develop strategies to realize savings\nLead or support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives\nWorking with the potential suppliers and the program team, identify opportunities to reduce weight and cost, and address quality issue.\nEnsure the suppliers are ‘rate ready’ to support production.\nManage effective communication with tactical counterpart.\nUse knowledge and supplier dealings to input into commodity strategy.\nExecute commodity strategy.\nAble to manage special projects and work collaboratively with stake holders and counterparts from value streams\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively\nUphold high ethical standard code of conduct in internal and external dealings.\nA team player and having the ability to work collaboratively.\nPerforms other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.\nAdheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nGraduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent\nMinimum of 3years experience in procurement.\nAbility to create consensus to ensure results from peers in cross-functional positions.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and life-long learning.\nExcellent time management and active communication skills.\nAbility to manage conflict across multiple roles and teams.\nKnowledge of inventory management processes and philosophies, including MRP & Just in Time (JIT).\nUnderstanding of financial reports and expense control.\nProven ability to analyze data and successfully develop and execute project plans.\nExperience developing and delivering communications and presentations to both customers, public groups, and internal organizations (i.e., top management, boards of directors).\nAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate and interact with leadership (minimum - up to 2 levels up).\nAble to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
