Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nRaytheon’s RF Technology Center in Forest, MS is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our successful team responsible for creating military radars, sensing systems and communication products.\nIn this fast-paced, quality oriented and safety-minded work environment you will work directly with Quality, Test Engineering and Operations personnel to improve the quality, delivery and production cost of products critical to military success.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nCreating and updating work instructions to ensure all technical requirements are captured for assembly.\nPerforming Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action when defects occur.\nSupporting transition to build activities and First Article Validation for new products.\nParticipating in the design of fixtures and tooling.\nProactively undertaking safety initiatives including job hazard analysis and ergonomic assessments.\nSupporting defect prevention and engaging with work area to address systemic issues. \nDriving continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework.\nOccasional travel may be required\nThis position is based onsite at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience\nExperience with defect analysis and/or process improvement\nExperience determining Root Cause and Corrective action implementation\nExperience working with engineering drawings\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience interfacing with customers and managers to report performance (technical, cost and schedule)\nSolid background in Military and Commercial Standards, Materials and Process Specifications, Torque Controls, and Analysis of Tolerance Stack-ups.\nExperience implementing Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments to solve design and manufacturing related issues\nUnderstanding of MRP and Shop Floor control systems for Non-Conforming Parts Disposition, Router Maintenance and Rework Router generation or experience with Electronic Circuit Card, Cabling and Electronic System assembly, and\nExperience with CREO Parametric to manipulate 3D models, create 3D models\nWhat We Offer:\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
