Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:\nAs a Sr. Principal Classified Network Domain Architect, you will lead enterprise-wide network architecture across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, edge, and secure-access environments, with a primary focus on RTX Classified Enterprise Network Architecture. You will establish strategic direction, architecture standards, and modernization roadmaps while driving secure, scalable, and compliant network solutions that support RTX's mission-critical services and enterprise transformation initiatives.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead enterprise network architecture across classified and unclassified environments, including on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and edge networks.\nEstablish network architecture standards, reference designs, security patterns, and modernization roadmaps.\nArchitect secure network solutions across LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud networking, Zero Trust, SDN, SD-WAN, and SASE/SSE.\nPartner with Cloud, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to align architecture with enterprise and security requirements.\nDrive network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies to improve provisioning and operational efficiency.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, lead proofs of concept, and guide major network modernization initiatives.\nInfluence enterprise technology decisions and provide architectural direction to executive and engineering stakeholders.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree in a related technical discipline and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.\nAdvanced networking certification, such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.\nDeep expertise in enterprise networking, including routing/switching, LAN/WAN, data center networking, and cloud networking.\nAdvanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VPNs, and SDN.\nExperience designing secure network architectures, including Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and SASE/SSE.\nHands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud networking.\nExperience with network automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), APIs, and CI/CD.\nExperience developing enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.\nStrong understanding of secure-by-design principles and regulated-environment security requirements.\nTS Clearance Required\nQualifications We Prefer\nTOGAF and CSSIP certifications.\nMaster's degree in a relevant technical discipline.\nAdvanced networking certifications, such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent.\nCloud networking certifications for Azure, AWS, or equivalent platforms.\nExperience with SASE/SSE, SD-WAN, network security, and network management platforms.\nExperience architecting networks within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, telecommunications, or other regulated enterprise environments.\nExperience working with ITAR/EAR, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), NIST 800-171/53, DFARS, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and/or CMMC requirements.\nExperience leading technology innovation, proofs of concept, and emerging-technology initiatives.\nExperience with AI fabric networking, advanced data center fabrics, or edge networking.\nExperience supporting the Defense Industrial Base, Department of Defense (DoD), Department of War (DoW), and/or Intelligence Community environments.\nProven experience serving as the lead architect for major enterprise network transformations or cloud connectivity initiatives.\nProficiency with enterprise architecture modeling and repository tools, including architecture visualization capabilities.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nWork Location\nThis is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
