Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\n\nThis is an onsite role in McKinney, TX.\nWhat You Will Do\nYou will interface with both internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership personnel to develop cost reduction activities, mitigate process defects, and promote effective design choices through statistical analysis.\nGain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF Microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, Electronic Warfare, SATCOMs, etc.) \nWork as the liaison between the factory and program to improve producibility of complex RF electronics components and assemblies.\nWhat You Will Learn\nYou will have the opportunity to resolve product specific design and process challenges for cutting edge RF microelectronics used in land, sea, airborne, and space applications.\nIntimate details of the processes and equipment used to assemble hardware.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.\nCurrently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance\nMaterials and process experience with an in-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in a production environment.\nQualifications We Prefer\nAdvanced degree in aforementioned disciplines. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard\nKnowledge of program life cycles and criticality of achieving MRL/TRL requirements\nKnowledge of DFMA & DPD processes\nKnowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), adhesives, wire bond, vacuum lamination, conformal coat, and other electronic assembly processes.\nExperience with running designed experiments (DOEs), statistical data handling analysis.\nKnowledge of metrology processes to diagnose product specific issues. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
