We are looking for an ambitious student to join our Strategy & Business Development department at RTX in Nørresundby.
You will report directly to the Director of Strategy & Business Development and work closely on real strategic questions. You will learn to apply problem solving skills, using AI tools, and how to communicate to senior leadership.
The position is expected to be approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your studies and exam periods.
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking an ambiguous question, structuring it, finding the relevant information and turning it into clear insights and recommendations.
What you will work on
Your assignments will vary, but could include:
- Researching markets, customers, competitors and trends to identify new growth opportunities
- Conducting market assessments across our business segments and supporting our strategic opportunity radar
- Identifying and screening potential M&A targets and partnership opportunities
- Supporting Strategy, Business Development and M&A projects and processes
- Turning research and analysis into clear fact bases, recommendations and presentation material for management discussions
- Using AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, structure complex questions and identify patterns, while critically validating sources, assumptions and conclusions
- Conducting ad hoc strategic analyses when new opportunities or questions emerge
Who are you?
Your exact field of study matters less than your ability and willingness to think, learn and challenge. Most importantly, you are curious about how companies grow, compete and make strategic decisions.
We imagine that you are studying Business Administration (HA/cand.merc.) or another relevant business-related degree, and are either:
- nearing the end of your bachelor's degree, or
- in the first part of your master's degree.
- are analytically strong and intellectually curious
- enjoy understanding unfamiliar industries and technologies
- can structure an unclear problem before trying to solve it
- are comfortable working with numbers as well as qualitative information
- distinguish between facts, assumptions and opinions
- communicate complex findings simply and clearly
- have solid PowerPoint and Excel skills
- are comfortable working independently and asking questions when something does not make sense
You probably:

What you get
We do not expect you to know everything from day one.
You will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Strategy & Business Development, who brings 10+ years of experience within strategy and business development from several global companies.
You will receive ongoing sparring, feedback and coaching, with the ambition of developing both your analytical toolbox and your commercial and strategic judgement.
At the same time, you will work on real strategic topics towards the management team making a difference for RTX. You will get hands-on exposure to market strategy, business development, M&A and executive decision-making, with increasing responsibility and ownership as you develop.
