Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nRaytheon is seeking a Subcontract Specialist to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit. This role will support one of the program areas within the space portfolio and other exciting new business pursuits within this product line. The candidate will be responsible for multi-year development and production service subcontracts requiring ongoing oversight and administration of specifications, statements of work (SOW), and terms and conditions. This role will interface heavily with subcontractors’ cross-functional teams and lower-tier suppliers to ensure subcontractors provide on-time delivery of compliant product/service. This role will require management of large competitive pursuits and on-contract program growth.\nWhat You Will Do\nProvide subcontract management strategy to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with company policies.\nProvide analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, teaming agreement negotiation and execution, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreement execution, and general contract administration from pursuit to award to closeout.\nManage subcontract terms and conditions to ensure work is performed within the overall subcontract scope.\nWork closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals.\nExamine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nProvide guidance regarding subcontract and business issues, advising management of subcontract rights and obligations; as well as possible mitigation of subcontract / program risks.\nWork independently in a fast-paced / multitask environment.\nTake ownership of all responsibilities and execution of tasking to completion/resolution.\nEscalate topics that require management awareness and participation.\nDevelop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience\nMinimum 5 years experience working with supplier contracts.\nMinimum 3 years experience specifically with subcontracts\nActive and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
