Collins Aerospace specialises in producing aerostructures, avionics, interiors, mechanical systems, mission systems, and power and control systems that serve customers across the commercial, regional, business aviation and military sectors.\nWe are looking to recruit a HR Supervisor to join our People Services team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week on site; Wednesdays and Thursdays.\n\nPosition Overview:\nAs part of the Enterprise Services business, People Services operates as a HR Shared Service, providing first line HR advice and guidance to employees and managers. Our UK and Ireland team support all sites across the UK business, as well as locations in the Middle East. The team is split into 3 tiers - Tier 0 being our online, self-service portal; Tier 1 handling queries, providing advice and guidance, and general HR administration; and Tier 2 providing more services for the most complex cases. This role is situated in Tier 1, reporting to the Manager, HR Operations. The role is highly customer focused, fast paced, varied and relies on effective collaboration with others.\nWhat you will do:\nProvide first line leadership and real-time coaching to a small team of Associate HR Advisors.\nAdvise, coach and guide Managers and Employees to effectively navigate HR processes, from simple to complex, handling a small case load.\nEffectively handle and resolve a wide range of HR queries received through a variety of channels including telephone, email, and online portal ensuring that a high level of customer service is delivered throughout.\nUtilise established HR processes, knowledge, policies, company guidelines and regulations to resolve customer cases.\nPartner with BU HR teams to identify, recommend and create knowledge articles to constantly update our People Services knowledge base.\nUnderstand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies.\nBe an active and supportive member of the team, sharing experiences and ideas with colleagues to continually improve our services.\nActively engage with continuous improvement tools to identify and support process improvement activities, including supporting optimisation efforts with third party vendors.\nAct as an advocate for People Services within the business and encourage adoption of the HR Operating Model.\nCarry out any other reasonable request in line with your day-to-day duties.\nConduct regular 121’s, using performance data to identify improvements and develop Advisor capability.\nAct as a first escalation point for issue resolution in your value stream.\nWork to consistently meet KPIs including 80% SLA adherence and 80% positive MFA.\nCORE champion - lead the adoption of QCPC and CORE activities.\nQualifications and experience you must have:\nExperience working in a HR role and/or within a Shared Services environment\nExperience in advising and guiding Managers across all aspects of HR policies including the interpretation of these policies.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to multi-task and proactively prioritise work to meet competing demands.\nStrong communication skills (written and oral) across all levels of the organization.\nLogical thinker who can solve problems quickly\nAbility to work independently and effectively in a high-pace and deadline-driven organization.\nTeam player who can support, coach and encourage others.\nExperience of Workday or ServiceNow desirable but not essential\nStrong IT skills and aptitude for using HRIT tools\nApply now to learn more!\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
