We deliver solutions that help our nation and allies defend freedom and deter aggression, creating a safer, more secure world.\nJoin us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWe are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work at our McKinney, Texas facility.\nThis is an onsite role in McKinney, TX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nThe Counterfeit Avoidance Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity of Raytheon’s supplier base by mitigating counterfeit avoidance risks.\nThis position involves collaboration with supply chain, program managers, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure compliance with Raytheon’s policies and contractual requirements.\nYou will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in procurement processes while staying current with industry practices.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nInterpret quality requirements, industry standards, and contractual regulations for application to Raytheon procurements.\nSupport the maintenance and improvement of Raytheon’s counterfeit avoidance policies.\nEnsure counterfeit avoidance requirements are effectively communicated and flowed down to suppliers.\nCoordinate approvals for high-risk counterfeit procurements.\nConduct collaborative communication with suppliers, cross-business teams, and customers.\nSupport independent distributor approval and maintenance efforts, including recurring assessments.\nAttend counterfeit avoidance industry conferences and seminars to align with best practices.\nTravel within the United States (Qualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of experience.\nExperience with quality assurance concepts and methodologies.\nExperience using Microsoft Office tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nExperience working with management to resolve engineering issues.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Confidential security clearance is required.
