You'll play a critical role in ensuring our systems meet stringent regulatory and customer requirements, providing a robust and traceable demonstration of compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nThis is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of engineering delivery, working across Systems, Software, Hardware, Safety and Test teams to ensure products are designed, verified and certified with confidence.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead certification and compliance activities across complex ATMS programmes.\nDevelop and maintain certification strategies, compliance plans and assurance frameworks.\nIdentify applicable requirements, required evidence, dependencies and certification risks.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define and gather compliance evidence.\nReview requirements, designs, verification and validation outputs to ensure compliance objectives have been met.\nMaintain clear traceability between requirements, verification activities and certification evidence.\nCoordinate certification activities through key lifecycle milestones including PDR, CDR, qualification, V&V and product acceptance.\nSupport the development and independent review of key certification artefacts, including Declarations of Design and Performance (DDP).\nAct as the primary point of contact for certification matters across Engineering, System & Product Integrity, programme teams and customers.\nProactively identify compliance risks and drive actions to resolution before they impact delivery.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in Systems Engineering across the full engineering lifecycle.\nBackground in certification, compliance, design assurance or product assurance within a regulated engineering environment.\nStrong understanding of requirements management, system design, integration, verification, validation and qualification.\nAbility to assess complex engineering evidence and determine compliance against defined requirements.\nExperience developing compliance plans and managing associated certification evidence.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across engineering disciplines and customer organisations.\nAbility to balance technical, regulatory and programme delivery considerations.\nDegree qualified in Aerospace, Systems, Electronics or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.\nChartered Engineer (CEng) status is desirable.\nWhy RTX?\nWork on mission-critical technologies that help protect and connect the world.\nCollaborate with some of the brightest minds in aerospace, defence and advanced engineering.\nBe part of programmes that combine technical complexity with genuine societal impact.\nAccess excellent career development opportunities within a global technology leader.\nJoin a culture that values innovation, teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement.\nIf you're passionate about engineering assurance, certification and delivering complex systems in highly regulated environments, we'd love to hear from you.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
