As an intern, you will be instrumental in contributing to all phases of the product development lifecycle, including systems and software requirements, system architecture and design, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification, and sell-off. Systems engineering is all about collaboration. If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from you.\nCEC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHHrQSFWh1I\nWork closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals with the responsibility of defining the requirements, design, and architecture of subsystems that comprise the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) product line, as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS). \nParticipate in the systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification. \nCollaborate across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestones. \nWhat You Will Learn\nYou will gain technical experience, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to established engineers within the Systems Excellence Department that will help advance your career. \nYou will obtain invaluable experience working with our CEC subject matter experts in addition to supporting our customer base, and cross-functional integrated product team. \nYou can take flight to becoming knowledgeable in algorithm development, system level designs, and system level models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with exposure to the variety of business and products in an ever-evolving field. \nWe are growing, so can you! \nQualifications You Must Have\nMust be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.\nMust have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.\nExperience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience in the operation, test, and troubleshooting of Naval systems. \nDevelopment of integration, verification, and validation planning documentation of integration and test plans, procedures, reports, status reports, and other related documentation. \nExperience with Agile development, including project estimating, reporting, and backlog management. \nExperience in programming C/C++, Python, or other programming languages. Knowledgeable in Linux. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
