Do you want to be part of an engineering team working on a variety of interesting hardware and software projects? Do you want to get hands on experience with sophisticated electronic equipment? Join us in Test Engineering as a Summer (June start) and Fall (early or mid-December end) Co-op student, within our Avionics team which offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. You would need to take the fall 2026 semester off. We serve internal customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, as well as external customers - domestic and international.

What You Will Do:

• The primary responsibility for this position is to assist Project Engineers in developing and maintaining test solutions. The student who fills this position must have strong project management, process compliance and problem-solving skills. This position will heavily utilize software development and process improvement skills.
• You will contribute to the success of a cross-functional team.
• You will assist Project Engineers in managing the projects.
• You will develop software and tools to improve process efficiency.
• You will lead and manage project related tasks.
• You will prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers.
• You will plan and manage tasks effectively.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C++ and C#
• Experience in AI/Data Analytics

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
