In this role, you will be required to plan, conduct, and report on testing done to products under development as well as provide advice and feedback to relevant stakeholders.\nThis position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.\nWhat You Will Do\nInteract with other functional groups (e.g. engineering, manufacturing) on routine technical matters\n\nSet up and operating various test stands\n\nConfigure test equipment for special tests as needed\n\nInterpret and recording test results\n\nRecognize and isolating test equipment failures\n\nTake electrical measurements to determine select resistors using strong math skills\n\nUse diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level\n\nRead and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics\n\nEffectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)\n\nPerform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.\n\nUtilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.\n\nPerform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.\n\nParticipate on project teams.\n\nPerform task prioritization.\n\nApply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required.\n\nSupport activities through the resolution of problems and preparation and maintenance of documentation.\n\nManage work flow throughout area to achieve team goals.\n\nEvaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances.\n\nFabricate hardware, equipment, tools or prototypes from drawings or sketches.\n\nEstimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for the building and repair of product or process enhancement.\n\nProvide accurate recording of time changes, test data, parts usage, etc. This requires limited data interpretation.\n\nUtilize multiple databases to create/use necessary information to provide information for decision making requiring limited judgment.\n\nAn essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods.
