Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nYou will support the design and fabrication of electrical and/or mechanical test fixtures.\n\nYou will develop test artifacts including test plans, procedures, reports, and manuals.\n\nYou will build and fabricate product prototypes and hardware.\n\nYou will utilize laboratory/test equipment including universal testers, environmental chambers, vibration table, ovens, an icing wind tunnel, etc.\n\nYou will work as part of an integrated team and receive technical guidance/input from other engineers and technicians.\n\nWhat You Will Learn:\nYou will learn the function and details of components for ice protection, potable water systems, and specialty heated applications.\n\nYou will learn aerospace design and test standards and how they apply to ice protection, potable water systems, and specialty heated applications.\n\nYou will learn how MATLAB and LabVIEW are utilized in real world test setups to perform tests and collect test data.\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nMust be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.\n\nExperience in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nExperience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.\n\nExperience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
