You’ll tackle complex accounting initiatives, partner with teams across the firm, and make an impact in a growing professional services environment.\nMajor Responsibilities\nManage revenue recognition for client engagements, including fixed fee, time-and-materials, retainer, and assets under management (AUM) arrangements.\nPartner with client service teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recording.\nTrack and manage earn-out and contingent consideration payments related to mergers and acquisitions.\nReconcile investment advisory fees and validate AUM-related revenue calculations.\nPrepare monthly revenue journal entries and related account reconciliations.\nReconcile balance sheet accounts, including work-in-progress, time and expense, and accounts receivable.\nPrepare and analyze revenue reports, identifying trends and variances for management.\nMaintain accurate accounting records in accordance with accounting principles and internal standards.\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows.\nSupport additional accounting and finance functions as needed.\nPreferred Experience / Background / Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.\nAt least 4-years of experience in revenue accounting or general accounting required.\nExperience working for a Professional Services organization.\nStrong understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliations.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage deadlines and work independently.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications.\nWork Environment\nHybrid work environment that supports a balance of remote and onsite work, with in-office presence encouraged for cross-functional collaboration, planning sessions, and key financial close activities.\n\nStandard business hours with occasional additional hours as needed to support business objectives.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the role in an office environment, including computer-based work, movement throughout the workplace, and occasional handling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nOne Firm\nTo foster a highly respected, inclusive culture that helps foster and promote an environment that is diverse and equitable for all team members and the firm to achieve growth and deepened expertise.
