We have revenue of approximately $265 million with 1,000+ team members across locations in Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Mumbai (India), Nashville, and St. Louis.\nA Private Client Services Tax Manager is a key participant in client service, team member development, specialty expertise, and business development.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nProvide outstanding service to a broad range of high net worth individuals, executives and business owners and related entities in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service Standards\nDemonstrate technical competence in specialty expertise (in Income tax, Compliance, and Planning)\nManage engagements/assignments in a consistently profitable manner\nReview client engagement/assignment documentation, returns and work papers for accuracy\nSupervision of client engagement/assignment procedures\nDevelopment of team members - serve as mentor, advisor, team leader, and/or Career Advocate (CA)\nProvide team members with timely and candid performance feedback supporting the firm’s performance management process\nPlan and complete assignments in a timely manner\nAbility to recognize, research, document and satisfactorily resolve technical issues\nGenerate new business and retain current business\nExpand services to existing clients\nPreferred Experience/Background/Skills\nCPA required\nBachelors degree in Accounting or related degree\nFive or more years of applicable experience in individual income tax planning and compliance\nExperience with trust income tax compliance a plus\nAbility to research technical issues and document results\nAbility to supervise, coach, and develop individuals and/or large groups.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrict adherence to professional ethics.\nWorking Conditions\nTypical office hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.\nMust be available for on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested.\nAbility to work extra hours, different hours, or staggered hours as determined by the workload and expectations especially between February and April each year.\nSome travel will be required to assist in other locations\nAbility to sit for long periods of time.\nAbility to move throughout office.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to communicate with clients, team members, etc.\nColorado, Illinois, and Nevada Salary Statement:\nThe salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the states of Colorado and Las Vegas if selected for the role.
