We partner with customers to scale AI with speed, efficiency, and sustainability, backed by secured land, power access, and accelerated delivery models.\nWhat Impact You Will Have\nThe Development Associate will support the execution of Rubix's global development pipeline from site origination through project delivery. Working closely with Development, Land & Energy, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders, you will help evaluate opportunities, coordinate diligence activities, support transaction processes, prepare investment materials, and maintain visibility across active development projects.\nThis role combines project coordination, development analysis, diligence management, portfolio reporting, and executive communications. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Rubix move projects from concept through execution while providing leadership with clear, actionable information to support decision making.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelopment Documentation & Data Rooms\nManage project documentation across active development projects.\nOrganize and maintain virtual data rooms and diligence materials.\nTrack critical project deliverables, agreements, permits, approvals, and development milestones.\nMaintain document control, filing standards, and version management.\nEnsure project information is organized, current, and accessible to internal stakeholders.\nDevelopment Analysis & Investment Support\nCoordinate due diligence activities including environmental, survey, geotechnical, utility, permitting, title, and commercial reviews.\nReview consultant reports and summarize key findings, risks, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.\nAssist with development budgets, schedules, milestone tracking, and portfolio reporting.\nSupport the preparation of deal summaries, development recommendations, and investment committee materials by translating development assumptions into clear business cases.\nCoordinate with the Capital Markets team to ensure development assumptions are accurately reflected in project economics and financing discussions.\nSupport land acquisitions, development agreements, incentive programs, and transaction execution activities.\nAssist in identifying project risks, dependencies, and critical path items across active developments.\nPortfolio Reporting & Tracking\nMaintain portfolio-wide development trackers, reporting tools, risk registers, and development dashboards.\nSupport portfolio and project reporting across development, power, land, capital markets, and delivery activities.\nMonitor milestones, deadlines, risks, action items, and project dependencies.\nPrepare recurring reports and updates for leadership reviews.\nHelp standardize development reporting and project management processes across the portfolio.\nExecutive Presentations & Communications\nDevelop executive-level presentations and materials for leadership, investors, customers, project reviews, and investment committees.\nTranslate complex technical, commercial, and development information into clear, concise decision-making materials.\nSupport preparation of strategic reports, portfolio updates, business case presentations, and development recommendations.\nCreate professional PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate project status, opportunities, risks, and recommendations.\nProject Coordination\nCoordinate information requests across Development, Finance, Legal, Design, Delivery, Capital Markets, and external consultants.\nSchedule meetings and track follow-up actions and deliverables.\nSupport project analysis, diligence efforts, and special initiatives related to active developments and new opportunities.\nAssist in driving accountability and communication across project stakeholders.\nTravel to project sites, consultant meetings, customer meetings, and development activities as required.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n2-5+ years of experience with data center or large-scale industrial or infrastructure development. \nStrong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level materials.\nStrong Excel and organizational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nExperience at a data center developer, operator, engineering firm, or consultancy.\nExperience managing virtual data rooms.\nKnowledge of development project lifecycles.\nExperience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.\nFamiliarity with project management and reporting platforms.\nWhat We Offer\nExposure to high-impact infrastructure investments and development projects.\nOpportunity to work across the full asset lifecycle from origination through operations.\nDirect collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.\nFast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant growth potential.\nCompetitive compensation and benefits.\nOur Inclusive Responsibility\nRubix is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
