You will make sure every transaction across all payment providers is captured accurately, reconciled on time and accounted for in line with applicable standards. You will manage the full AR cycle: gross revenue, refunds, fees, chargebacks, cash collections.\nPayment provider reconciliation\nOwn daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations across multiple payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Finix, Nuvei, Worldpay)\n\nReconcile gross sales, fees, chargebacks, refunds, disputes, reserves and payouts to bank statements and the general ledger\n\nInvestigate and resolve variances, timing differences and unmatched items promptly\n\nManage multi-currency settlements and FX differences\n\nAccounting standards and revenue accounting\nApply relevant standards, including IFRS 15 / ASC 606 (revenue recognition), IFRS 9 / ASC 326 (expected credit losses), and IAS 21 / ASC 830 (foreign currency)\n\nMaintain accurate deferred revenue balances\n\nCalculate and review provisions\n\nPrepare and review AR and deferred revenue roll-forwards, journal entries and supporting schedules\n\nEnsure correct sales tax treatment in coordination with Tax team\n\nMonth-end close, controls and audit\nDeliver AR-related close tasks on schedule and to a high standard of accuracy\n\nDesign, document and maintain internal controls over AR and cash\n\nServe as the primary contact for internal and external auditors on AR, revenue and cash matters\n\nPrepare clear variance analysis and KPI reporting for Finance leadership\n\nQualifications\nStrong tech skills and tech-savvy mindset. Proven ability to adopt and leverage AI technologies, and AI agents. AI adoption is an essential part of how the Company operates across all processes.\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent) strongly preferred\n\n[7-8]+ years of accounting experience, including [2-3]+ years in a role in AR, revenue accounting or finance operations\n\nProven experience in a subscription, SaaS, digital or recurring-revenue business\n\nStrong hands-on experience reconciling high-volume transactions across multiple payment service providers and currencies\n\nSolid working knowledge of IFRS and their practical application to subscription models\n\nExperience with deferred revenue accounting, chargebacks, refunds and payment-dispute handling\n\nAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with large datasets\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines\n\nTechnical experience is required, preferably with basic SQL knowledge or junior-level developer skills.\n\nLocation\nRuby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
