This position is responsible for employee relations and development, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits administration, EH&S support, and more. This role plays a critical part in attracting top talent, building a strong employer brand, and ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job requisition creation, posting advertisements, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, facilitating interview schedules, and extending offers.\nDevelop and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing methods (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals).\nCollaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and create compelling job descriptions.\nUtilize application tracking system (Workday) to manage candidate data and ensure efficient hiring process.\nPromote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices to build a well-rounded workforce.\nCoordinate and attend job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.\nFacilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, including offer letter preparation, orientation programs, and initial training coordination.\nAddress employee inquiries, mediate workplace conflicts, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.\nAssist with employee benefits enrollment and answer questions related to health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g. FMLA, ADA, EEO). Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.\nAssist in developing and communicating HR policies and procedures, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding procedures.\nSupport performance review processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.\nContribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and culture-building activities, to enhance retention.\nTrack and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) and other HR data to support strategic decision-making.\nAssist in ensuring timely and effective EH&S training occurs for all new hires.\nCoordinate and track recurring EH&S training for all associates to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.\nCollaborate with EH&S team to promote a safety-first culture and ensure a healthy and secure work environment.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nThe ideal candidate must have:\nA high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant HR generalist experience, or\nA bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant HR generalist experience, or\nA master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant HR generalist experience.\nThe ideal candidate will also:\nHave experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday;\nHave a basic understanding of EH&S principles and regulations;\nDemonstrate a sense of urgency, prioritize appropriately, possess excellent organizational skills;\nHave a demonstrated excellent attention to detail and accuracy;\nBe an effective communicator and have excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills;\nHave a strong work ethic, demonstrable integrity and a willingness to challenge appropriately;\nHave demonstrated ability to self-motivate, problem solve and think critically;\nBe able to work independently with little administrative support;\nBe able to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals across multiple departments;\nHave experience with interpretation of laws and regulations; and\nHave strong computer skills.\nThis position will be 100% onsite in Earth City, Missouri. This position is primarily office-based within the manufacturing facility.
