This supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and finished goods. This role provides leadership for warehouse associates, coordinates inbound and outbound activities, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader who promotes accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence while supporting Ruggable's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.\nWhat You'll Do:\nWarehouse Operations\nSupervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing\nEnsure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments\nMonitor workflow and staffing levels to meet operational demands\nCoordinate dock scheduling and material movement throughout the facility\nMaintain warehouse organization and cleanliness according to 6S standards\nInventory Management\nEnsure inventory accuracy through weekly and monthly cycle counts along with physical inventory audits\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions\nMonitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess inventory concerns\nSupport material replenishment and Kanban processes\nMaintain accurate transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals\nConduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities\nProvide training for new employees and ongoing development for existing team members\nPerform performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed\nFoster a positive work environment focused on accountability and teamwork\nSafety & Compliance\nPromote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations\nConduct weekly safety observations and corrective actions\nInvestigate incidents and near misses and recommend preventative measures\nEnsure proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks\nMaintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards\nContinuous Improvement\nTrack and analyze warehouse performance metrics including:Inventory Accuracy\nOrder Accuracy\nOn-Time Shipment Performance\nProductivity Rates\nSafety Metrics\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency\nSupport implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives\nCollaborate with Procurement, Production, Transportation, Quality and Customer Service teams to resolve operational issues\nWhat You'll Need to Have:\nRequired:\n Bilingual (English/Spanish)\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred\n3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience\n2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to analyze data and make operational decisions\nProficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office/Excel\nPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds\nAbility to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures\nAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment when required\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience\nForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment\nCompensation:\n$60,000 - $70,000 per year base salary\nAn annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role\nEmployer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan\nAt Ruggable, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
