This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled AutoCAD professional with a strong background in controls, automation, and electrical design to contribute to the development of industry-standard design libraries and engineering templates.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain a comprehensive AutoCAD Symbol Library for controls and automation systems, including:\nControlLogix\nPCS7\nSTEP 7 TIA Portal\nFire & Gas equipment\nVibration monitoring systems\nTerminals\nCircuit breakers\nCreate and update standard engineering designs and AutoCAD templates.\nConvert existing standard junction box designs into AutoCAD format.\nEnsure consistency, quality, and compliance across all design documentation.\nWork closely with engineering teams to support automation and control system design requirements.\nEssential Requirements\nProven experience using AutoCAD within an engineering environment.\nStrong understanding of technical drawing standards and electrical design documentation.\nAbility to create and manage symbol libraries, templates, and standard design drawings.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience inAutomation and Control Panel Design.\nKnowledge of industrial control systems such as:\nRockwell ControlLogix\nSiemens PCS7\nSiemens STEP 7 TIA Portal\nFamiliarity with instrumentation, fire and gas systems, and industrial electrical equipment.\nWhat's on Offer?\nCompetitive contract rates.\nOpportunity to work on a high-profile engineering programme.\nCollaborative engineering environment.\nImmediate start available for the right candidate.\nIf you are an experienced Controls & Automation Design Engineer with strong AutoCAD expertise and a background in automation systems, we'd like to hear from you.
