This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project with the potential for ongoing work beyond the initial contract period.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving safety performance, and supporting the implementation of EHS best practices across complex construction environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct risk assessments and hazard identification activities.\nLead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis.\nCarry out EHS audits and site inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.\nSupport and maintain safety management systems.\nPromote environmental management practices and sustainability initiatives.\nDevelop and contribute to emergency response planning.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation.\nAnalyse EHS data and produce reports to support continuous improvement.\nEssential Requirements\n3-7+ years' experience in an EHS role.\nStrong background within the energy sector, with experience in:HVDC/HV projects\nSubstation construction\nLarge-scale infrastructure or energy projects\n\nProven experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.\nExperience implementing and managing EHS management systems.\nExcellent understanding of regulatory and legal compliance requirements.\nStrong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.\nLocation Requirement\nCandidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Minster, Kent, and be available to
