Strong candidates with significant electrical construction experience from comparable industrial environments are encouraged to apply.\nThe Role\nAs Electrical Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical construction activities within your assigned scope.\nYou will work closely with engineering teams, procurement, subcontractors, quality, EHS and commissioning to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme, quality and technical requirements.\nKey responsibilities will include:\nDevelop detailed construction execution plans and electrical sub-schedules aligned with the overall project programme.\nCoordinate with Engineering and Procurement to ensure drawings, technical documentation, materials and equipment are available when required.\nManage electrical subcontractors carrying out installation and construction activities.\nDrive subcontractor performance to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nDefine clear priorities, targets and expectations for construction teams.\nMonitor progress against programme and identify potential delays, risks or deviations.\nImplement corrective actions where construction activities fall behind plan or outside agreed requirements.\nSupport contract and subcontract management, including changes, variations and construction issues.\nEnsure compliance with project EHS requirements and site-specific safety arrangements.\nPromote a strong safety culture across all electrical construction activities.\nMaintain and drive electrical construction quality requirements.\nCoordinate interfaces between electrical, mechanical, civil and commissioning teams.\nSupport the transition of completed electrical systems from construction into commissioning.\nDrive the close-out of punch-list items and outstanding construction activities.\nEnsure installed equipment and materials are appropriately protected and preserved.\nMonitor subcontractor work areas to maintain safe, clean and controlled site conditions.\nProduce clear and concise progress reporting covering programme, risk, performance and forecast delivery.\nEscalate potential construction, commercial, quality or programme impacts before they affect key milestones.\nWork effectively within a complex, multi-disciplinary and international project environment.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for an experienced electrical construction professional who has delivered major installation packages within a large-scale industrial, engineering or infrastructure environment.\nYou may have developed your experience within:\nPower generation\nNuclear\nOil & gas\nPetrochemical or chemical processing\nPharmaceutical manufacturing\nAutomotive manufacturing\nHospitals or complex building services projects\nWater or process facilities\nMajor industrial infrastructure\nEPC or turnkey engineering projects\nExperience working for a major EPC contractor, engineering organisation, OEM, project developer, infrastructure investor or industrial construction contractor would be highly relevant.\nEssential Experience\nYou should be able to demonstrate:\nSignificant experience in electrical construction management or electrical project delivery.\nStrong field-based construction experience.\nExperience managing major electrical installation packages.\nProven experience managing subcontractors and specialist electrical contractors.\nStrong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site interfaces.\nKnowledge of contract management, subcontracting and construction variations.\nExperience working within EPC or major industrial project environments.\nGood understanding of Environment, Health & Safety requirements on major construction sites.\nStrong knowledge of construction quality and installation standards.\nExperience coordinating between Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning teams.\nAbility to identify construction risks, constraints and potential programme delays.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nStrong organisational and planning capability.\nAbility to operate effectively in a time-constrained, high-pressure project environment.\nConfidence managing multiple stakeholders and construction interfaces.\nQualifications\nIdeally, you will hold:\nA degree in Electrical Engineering;\nA degree in Electromechanical Engineering;\nOr another relevant electrical engineering qualification.\nCandidates with an equivalent technical qualification supported by substantial electrical field construction experience will also be considered.\nDesirable
