Core hours 9am-3pm\nJob Overview:\nWe are recruiting for an IPC Commissioning Planning Engineer to join the Central Controls Team supporting the Hinkley Point C Project as it moves into the commissioning phase.\nWorking within the Planning discipline of Integrated Project Controls (IPC), you will support the management and maintenance of the Level 2/4 Integrated Work Schedule (IWS), ensuring alignment with Level 3 contract schedules and providing high-quality schedule data, analysis and reporting.\nThe role will support informed decision-making and the effective, timely delivery of work across this major infrastructure project.\nYour Responsibilities:\nProduce and maintain the Integrated Work Schedule in Primavera P6, developing fully logic-linked work plans aligned with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).\nEnsure Level 2/4 schedules are maintained and updated within agreed reporting timescales.\nSupport the IPC Lead Planner and IPC Planning Manager with project planning and controls activities.\nAlign Level 3 contract schedules with the overall Integrated Work Schedule.\nIdentify, analyse and provide solutions to schedule and time-related issues.\nSupport Trend & Change processes and provide analysis of project risks and opportunities.\nProduce project-level schedule reports, including commentary on key schedule drivers and performance issues.\nProvide intelligent planning information and analysis to support Senior Project and Programme Managers.\nWork closely with Cost, Risk, Estimating, Performance Analysis and other Project Controls disciplines.\nEnsure planning information is aligned across the wider Integrated Project Controls function.\nManage schedule changes and help resolve planning issues with key stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with project governance, scheduling standards and procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement and best practice across the Planning discipline.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nStrong understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques.\nExcellent working knowledge of Primavera P6.\nExperience producing accurate and fully logic-linked project/construction schedules.\nStrong understanding of engineering, procurement and construction methods.\nPrevious experience within Project Controls or Project Management on a major construction or infrastructure project.\nUnderstanding of Earned Value Management/Analysis (EVM/EVA).\nKnowledge of Cost, Estimating and Risk disciplines within Project Controls.\nUnderstanding of commercial contracts, particularly NEC and FIDIC.\nKnowledge of schedule risk analysis techniques.\nStrong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.\nGood commercial awareness.\nStrong stakeholder management, written communication and verbal communication skills.\nDesirable experience includes:\nNuclear sector experience.\nExperience on major infrastructure programmes.\nEcoSys and Earned Value Management.\nARM or similar risk management tools.\nSynchro 4D modelling.\nAcumen Fuse schedule analysis.\nPower BI.\nSAP.\nCEMAR.\nSafran / QSRA.\nExperience presenting complex project information to senior stakeholders.\nExperience/Qualifications Required:\nDegree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline, OR HND/equivalent supported by appropriate industry experience.\nChartered or equivalent professional status.\nProven experience in a Project Management or Project Controls environment in a similar scheduling/planning role.\nMajor construction project experience.\nSubstantial experience using scheduling software, ideally Primavera P6 version 7 or above.\nCommercial contracting experience.\nExperience working with integrated project schedules and complex project controls environments.\nCompany information:\nThis contract vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd.\nSince 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients;
