Responsibilities include developing logic-linked, resource-loaded plans, coordinating resources and materials, managing scope changes and risks, and monitoring progress during outage execution. The role will involve working closely with Operations, engineering teams and contractors to maintain schedules, track critical path activities and ensure outages are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.\nApplicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:\nExperience in planning, scheduling or coordinating engineering, maintenance or outage activities.\nUnderstanding of basic planning principles, including logic-linked plans, resource allocation and critical path tracking.\nExperience coordinating activities across multiple teams, departments, contractors and stakeholders.\nExperience monitoring progress, managing schedule changes and identifying risks or delays.\nStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nHNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Project Management (degree desirable but not essential).\nRole information:\nDevelop and maintain logic-linked, resource-loaded outage plans for designated plant areas.\nReview previous outage plans and coordinate with station departments to identify changes and improvements.\nCoordinate resources, spare parts, risk mitigations and plant release requirements ahead of outages.\nManage scope changes during the preparation phase and incorporate appropriate risk mitigation measures.\nLead outage preparation meetings, manage agendas and track actions through to completion.\nMonitor outage progress, update schedules and track critical path activities during execution.\nAssess the impact of emergent work, identify schedule risks and highlight issues to the Lead Planner and Outage Group Head.\nWork with Operations to ensure plans meet Technical Specification and compliance requirements.\nSupport the development and delivery of Pre-Outage Milestone Plans (POMP) for statutory, refuelling and Fuel Route outages.\nLiaise with operational work planning teams to coordinate pre- and post-outage activities.\nInterested in this position? please click \"apply now\"\nWe try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.\nThis vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd acting as an employment business\nSince 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
