This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment to deliver projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Planning Manager, Project Managers, multi-disciplinary project teams, and the Client on a diverse portfolio of challenging projects.\nResponsibilities:\n* Develop, update and maintain full lifecycle P50 project schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy of deliverables and alignment with project objectives and delivery targets.\n* Update and maintain Programme-level tactical/delivery plans.\n* A strong understanding of baseline management and effective implementation of change.\n* Work closely with Project Managers to support project forecasting, progress reporting, and scenario planning.\n* Generate resource profiles to support the efficient deployment of project resources across the framework.\n* Produce and interpret earned value management (EVM) metrics (including performance analysis and variance reporting), critical path analysis and float erosion outputs.\n* Ensure programmes comply with NEC 3/4 contract requirements and utilise CEMAR for contract management activities.\n* Attend regular progress meetings to capture schedule updates and to provide clear insight on programme performance and critical path impacts.\n* Mentoring and development of junior members of the planning team.\nRequirements:\n* Minimum 4 years' experience in a project planning role within engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors.\n* Experience of working on projects on nuclear sites.\n* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and other planning methodologies.\n* Proficient in creating detailed costed & resourced schedules, progress updates, and performance analytics.\n* Strong experience of planning projects on Fixed Price and/or Target Cost NEC Contracts.\n* Experience of producing and maintaining risked, P50/P80 underpinning schedules.\n* A positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail with the ability to work effectively across diverse project teams.\nDesirable Skills\n* Experience with IWM (Integrated Work Management) is desirable.\nPlease note: all candidates must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance\nInterested in this position? please click \"apply now\"\nWe try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.\nCompany information:\nThis contract vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd\nSince 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
