As a Project Controls Engineer, you will join a cross-discipline team working on projects of national importance. You will define scope, build robust baselines and turn performance data into clear insight that informs decisions at the highest level. Working within an Integrated Project Team, you will integrate scope, cost, risk, and schedule, with the opportunity to lead your own workstreams as you develop.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and contribute to workstreams within a cross-discipline Project Controls team\n\nSupport scope definition, capture exclusions/assumptions/interfaces, and coordinate Work Breakdown Structure development\n\nEstablish and maintain a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control\n\nCollaborate with suppliers to integrate and analyse performance data against contractual requirements\n\nIntegrate and align scope, cost, risk and schedule\n\nAnalyse performance data, including Earned Value Management, to support informed delivery decisions\n\nLiaise with Finance on forward-looking positions (Cash ETC and EAC)\n\nSupport risk management (identification, quantification, treatment and oversight)\n\nSupport resource deployment in line with resource-loaded schedules\n\nAssure quality, accuracy and integrity of outputs\n\nCommunicate delivery performance and influence stakeholders\n\nPromote learning from experience and process improvement\n\nEssential Requirements\nExperience of delivering projects and Project Controls across one or more lifecycle stages\n\nExperience in one or more Project Controls disciplines (Planning & Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Control, Risk Management or Performance Reporting) and associated tools\n\nBasic understanding of how integrated Project Controls disciplines operate\n\nProactive, curious, \"can-do\" attitude and comfort working in ambiguous environments\n\nStrong communication and influencing skills\n\nUndergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or equivalent experience)\n\nMembership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body (e.g. APM or PMI)\n\nCompetence in relevant software tools\n\nAbility to gain BPSS/SC clearance\n\nDesire to work across sectors and clients\n\nAdvertised by Rullion Ltd Since 1978, Rullion has secured exceptional candidates for clients ranging from large brands to SMEs and start-ups.
