This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex Components Engineering projects, taking full ownership from project inception through to successful handover.\nYou will be responsible for driving project performance across commercial, technical, and operational aspects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nTake full responsibility for the successful delivery of Components Engineering projects.\nManage projects from initial concept through to completion and handover to the business.\nMaintain control of project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.\nWork closely with the Principal Engineer to provide project direction, coordination, and risk management.\nLead and coordinate a network of technical specialists to achieve project objectives.\nDevelop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across engineering and business functions.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive risk management practices are implemented.\nDeliver clear and effective presentations to individuals and stakeholder groups.\nProvide occasional supervision and mentoring to apprentice personnel where required.\nEnsure project governance, reporting, and controls are maintained throughout delivery.\nEssential Requirements\nProven experience managing projects within an engineering environment.\nStrong knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies, processes, tools, and procedures.\nExtensive experience of risk management across all phases of the project lifecycle.\nExcellent leadership, delegation, planning, and organisational skills.\nAbility to influence and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and technical specialists.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to deliver both formal and informal presentations.\nStrong stakeholder management and project reporting experience.\nAbility to work with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.\nWhat's on Offer?\nCompetitive day rate of £450 -
