In this role, you will work on building high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, optimize performance, and contribute to the overall architecture of our platform.\nInitially it will be a six-month contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one day a week being based in their London office. It is a full-time role, 40 hours per week.\nAccountabilities:\nDevelop and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using React.js, and TypeScript.\nCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement modern, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.\nOptimize applications for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.\nParticipate in code reviews and maintain a high level of code quality.\nTroubleshoot and debug issues in both development and production environments.\nContribute to architectural decisions and collaborate with other engineers on overall application design.\nEnsure the scalability and security of applications by following best development practices.\nStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new tools and libraries into the project as appropriate.\nWork with version control systems like Git and ensure continuous integration and deployment processes are followed.\nCollaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and handle data flow effectively.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nDemonstrated expertise as a Senior Backend Developer.\nProven experience in React.js, and TypeScript development.\nStrong understanding of JavaScript and modern front-end technologies.\nExperience with state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or similar.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs\nExperience with version control systems, such as Git.\nSolid understanding of web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and responsive design.\nStrong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues.\nAbility to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.\n\nPlease note:\nShould your application be successful, and you are offered the role, a number of pre-employment checks need to be carried out before your appointment can be confirmed.
