You will build and maintain the schedules that keep complex programmes on track, working closely with project managers and delivery teams to spot emerging issues early, plan recovery, and keep management informed. Ideal for someone who takes pride in the quality of their plans and enjoys seeing them shape real-world delivery. Exposure to multiple sectors and a collaborative professional community.\nResponsibilities\n Create and maintain project schedules aligned to project requirements, developed with the project manager and team.\nReduce uncertainty, clarify objectives, and improve efficiency.\n\nHelp project managers schedule work and coordinate assignments.\n\nEvaluate schedule progress and performance, and identify developing problem areas.\n\nSupport timely and effective change management.\n\nHelp produce status reports that keep management informed.\n\nAnalyse alternative courses of action or recovery for slipped schedules.\n\nRequirements\nProfessional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning and Scheduling across the whole project lifecycle, in one or more sectors.\n\nStrong proficiency in Primavera (P6) and other planning and resourcing software.\n\nAbility to coordinate with other teams and bring multidisciplinary knowledge.\n\nDegree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).\n\nMembership of a body such as APM or PMI.\n\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management experience.\n\nUK National Security Vetting Status - Ability to gain BPSS/SC clearance\nAdvertised by Rullion Ltd, a family-owned recruiter since 1978, committed to equal opportunities.
