Come join our team!\nThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading competitive sourcing initiatives, drafting and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), analyzing supplier pricing and cost structures, and supporting contract negotiations to ensure best value and while maintaining quality, compliance and strong supplier relationships.\nResponsibilities of Position:\nLead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI development and execution adhering to strict deadlines and key project dates\nAnalyze supplier pricing, cost models, and total cost of ownership\nSupport or lead contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders\nEvaluate supplier proposals and develop award recommendations\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies\nManage supplier relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives\nEnsure compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations\nNegotiate pricing with suppliers\nDraft agreements based on the Request for Proposal Requirements and Vendor’s Proposal\nAssist with onboarding new vendors\nPerform other duties as assigned\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nThis position will not manage employees\nSkills & Abilities Needed for Position:\nStrong pricing and financial analysis skills\nFamiliarity with procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels\nPossess strong, effective presentation skills\nMust possess a high degree of confidentiality\nExcellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail\nAbility to work well under pressure and be flexible and cooperative\nStrong Analytical Mindset with excellent negotiation skills\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently\nExhibit strong computer skills, proficient in Windows applications, Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook\nExperience & Knowledge Needed for Position:\nBachelor’s degree in business finance or the equivalent of 4-5 years of Business Finance or Materials Management experience\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or equivalent\nExperience with ERP or procurement systems (SAP Preferred)\nExperience drafting and managing RFP for a large variety of products/services and supplier evaluations\nExperience supporting or leading contract negotiations\nPhysical Requirements in a Regular Workday:\nRarely lifting/carrying a max of 20 lbs\nRarely pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs\nRarelyworking outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions\nRarelyworking in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter\nContinuously sitting\nOccasionally standing/walking\nAdditional Working Conditions/Aspects:\nAbility to travel between offices, as required\nLegally eligible to work in the United States\nValid driver’s license (if applicable)\nMust successfully complete pre-employment testing\nMust be able to read and speak the English language\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity, and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required.
