Come join our team!\nAs an integral part of the Rumpke Human Resources team, Training Specialist will act as a key enabler to implement Rumpke Talent Development initiatives across all functions through in-person, on-line and self-paced learning opportunities. This role will own identification of training needs, contribution in training content development, delivery of both mandatory and developmental trainings, capturing of feedback on training efficacy and effectiveness and maintaining training records. This is a highly collaborative role that involves working with multiple stakeholders in HR and all internal customers. Reporting to Talent Development Manager, this role is focused on elevating overall employee experience through multiple growth and development-oriented engagements.\nResponsibilities of Position:\nFacilitate training sessions on soft-skills, leadership development and any other assigned topics through in-person or virtual delivery\nMonitoring coverage of self-paced learning modules for all assigned team members\nEnsure collection of feedback on effectiveness of training programs and maintain attendance records of training sessions deployed\nCollaborate with Manager, Talent Development on new content development and upgrade for both in-person and self-paced learning modules\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand training needs and present recommendations on quarterly training interventions to the Manager, Talent Development\nEnsure regular monitoring and reporting on all talent development initiatives deployed by corporate human resources\nCollaborate with Regional Human Resource Managers to conduct specific training refreshers or one-on-one training for identified team members as a part of their growth or performance enhancement plan\nAssist functional training resources and subject matter experts in development or upgrade of their departmental training content\nCollaborate with managers to ensure that new associates receive the necessary support and resources during their onboarding experience\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in training and development\nOther duties as assigned\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nThis position will not manage employees\nSkills & Abilities Needed for Position:\nA strong ability to drive, collaborate, and manage a wide range of enablement initiatives\nWork in a fast-paced environment and will be passionate about enabling others\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAble to work independently\nCreative, self-starting\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation, problem-solving, analytical, and presentation abilities\nExperience & Knowledge Needed for Position:\n3-5 years of experience delivering training in both in-person and virtual settings\nExperience collaborating on the development of training content, supplemental materials and leader's guides\nLMS administration experience or demonstrated proficiency with LMS platforms\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to train others in their use\nExperience in managing digital training content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 etc\nCertification in instructional design and experience in managing content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 etc. is a plus\nPhysical Requirements in a Regular Workday:\nRarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs\nFrequently sitting/standing/walking\nAdditional Working Conditions/Aspects:\nAbility to travel between offices, as required\nLegally eligible to work in the United States\nValid driver’s license (if applicable)\nMust successfully complete pre-employment testing\nMust be able to read and speak the English language\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity, and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required.
