If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.\nAbout the role\n*Open to hiring remote across the US - we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle\nWe’re looking for a Business Development Representative to continue building the outbound motion at Runway and support our GTM Sales team across Enterprise and Mid Market.\nIn this role, you will partner closely with our Enterprise and Mid Market account executives to identify, research, and engage high-potential accounts. You’ll help refine our outbound strategy, messaging, and targeting while creating pipeline with some of the most innovative brands, studios, and technology companies in the world.\nAs we continue to scale the team, this role offers meaningful ownership and the opportunity to influence how prospecting and account development are done at Runway. Over time, there may also be opportunities to run and close smaller SMB deals, giving you exposure to the full sales cycle.\nThis role is ideal for someone who is curious, resourceful, and excited about building and refining processes in a fast-moving environment.\nWhat you’ll do\nPartner closely with our GTM Sales team to research and prioritize target accounts\n\nIdentify and engage stakeholders across creative, marketing, production, and technology teams\n\nDevelop thoughtful outbound campaigns across email, phone, and other channels\n\nCraft compelling, highly personalized messaging tailored to brand-driven and technical organizations\n\nGenerate qualified pipeline and schedule meetings for our Enterprise and Mid Market account executives\n\nExperiment with messaging, targeting, and sequencing to improve engagement and conversion\n\nMaintain clear notes and activity in CRM tools to support coordinated account strategy\n\nShare feedback from prospects to help inform positioning, product direction, and go-to-market strategy\n\nOver time, manage and close select SMB or smaller expansion opportunities, gaining exposure to discovery, qualification, and closing\n\nAs part of a growing team, you’ll have the chance to help define best practices, contribute to playbooks, and influence how the BDR function evolves at Runway.\nWhat you’ll need\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely\n\nA research-driven and thoughtful approach to outreach and account development\n\nCuriosity about AI, creative tooling, and how new technologies are adopted inside organizations\n\nComfort engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from creative professionals to senior business and technical leaders\n\nHigh level of ownership, initiative, and comfort operating in ambiguity\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment\n\nNice to have\nExperience in a sales development, customer-facing, or growth role\n\nExperience selling into creative teams, marketing organizations, or mid market and enterprise accounts\n\nExperience running discovery or closing smaller deals\n\nWe especially value candidates who are thoughtful, resourceful, and motivated to improve their craft every day.\nRunway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team.
