Travel accounts for 40-50%.\n*Ideally candidates will reside in or near Seattle, Spokane, Yakima or Portland Are a.\nJob Duties:\nResponsible for increasing sales within the assigned dealer/retailer customer base through our strategic category management process.\nIdentify customer needs to facilitate product and planogram recommendations through our category management process.\nDevelop and follow a comprehensive time and territory management plan to maximize coverage and efficiently manage expenses.\nUtilize Go Canvas CRM tool to track calls and progress\nProvide merchandising, pricing, and promotional support to the dealer base.\nAttend Grand-openings, in-store events as needed\nAttend industry trade shows as needed\nWork with internal and external customers to meet all commitments and deadlines.\nThe ability to use all Microsoft Office products to analyze data, communicate with customers, and make profitable recommendations to internal and external customers.\nAchieve profitable quarterly sales objectives and goals.\nAble to climb a ladder and do physical activities as required by the position.\nRequirements:\n1 - 3 years of previous outside sales experience\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred. \nPrevious retail account selling experience is strongly desired, and Hardware Co-Op experience is a plus.\nOutstanding oral and written communication skills\nSelf-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and sales territory, with a proven ability to multitask.\nAbility to work and travel within assigned territory 40-50% of the time. Periodic evening and weekend hours are required for trade shows and customer events.\nProven history of exceptional follow-up skills.\nProven history of working with diverse customer base.\nAbility to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format.\nSelf-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and assigned accounts as well as the proven ability to multitask\nAbility to analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.\nAbility to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and write reports to communicate the information.\nMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum.\nBilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Power BI, SAP, and CRM (salesforce)\nSalary Range: $65,000 - $80,000, bonus eligible\n*Company furnished car & cell phone\nFrom big benefits to small, we take care of our associates!
