The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading a small team, providing strategic and operational leadership within a sourcing category while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. success.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and manage day-to-day operations strategy, planning, and execution.\nEstablish team priorities and allocate resources effectively\nMonitor performance and ensure achievement of goals and objectives.\nCoach, mentor and develop team members.\nSupport employee relations, engagement and performance management activities.\nAnalyze data and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement\nImplement process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners to accomplish business objectives\nEnsure margin enhancement opportunities.Coordinate with Packaging Engineer for Component specification management\n\nConduct RFQ/Ps, evaluate supplier quotation and develop negotiation strategies\n\nConduct or assist in supplier negotiations and act as mentor to others\n\nCollaborate closely with RPM Center Led Procurement to align overall strategy, negotation strategy and strategy execution\n\nSupport revenue growth and develop supplier capabilitiesSecure supply and ensure supply risk mitigation\n\nContinuously develop supplier capabilities to improve performance and enable better product solutions for the future.\n\nPartner with Sales and Marketing to understand and support commercial needs\n\nCreate supplier relationships that address and are suitable to business needs\n\nSupplier Relationship managementDrive supplier performance and reliability\n\nManage supplier pricing, rebates and contracts\n\nBuild, review and implement supplier strategic depending on business need and market conditions.\n\nFacilitate escalation process when supplier performance is impacting service level to company’s customers.\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nInnovation and product cycle support (Project Management) : Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, the plants and the project teams to support sourcing needs of the various projects in the pipeline. \nOther operational responsibilities\nSupport plant management supply needs to minimize disruption to operations\n\nPrepare regular management reports such as E6, PPV, weekly updates, critical materials log, etc\n\nWork with legal and CLP in the contract life cylce management.\n\nInterface with other internal departments, including Finance, Legal, EHS, etc. to resolve issues relating to product cost, supplier payment terms, product safety and labeling issues and other regulatory requirements.\n\nEnsure prompt and accurate maintenance of ERP Source-to-Pay parameters assigned to procurement e.g. vendor master, Source List, PIR.\n\nScope\nLeads a small team of 2-3 sourcing professionals or analyst\n\nCategory spend : $160 million\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree required.\n7+ years of procurement experience\nRelevant certifications or professional credentials preferred, where applicable.\nExperience\nDemonstrated experience in a related field, industry, or functional area.\nProven ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.\nPrior experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment preferred. \nCPMG background is preferred.\nKnowledge\nKnowledge of industry practices, processes, and applicable regulations relevant to the role.\nWorking knowledge of systems, tools, and technologies required to perform job responsibilities.\nUnderstanding of
