RwandAir Catering Ltd aims to be one of the biggest aviation catering companies in Africa in few years to come. \n\nAs part of this strategy, we are looking for interested, qualified, committed and competent candidate to apply for the position mentioned below:\n\nWAITER/ WAITRESS \n\nJob Purpose:\n\nThe Waiter/ Waitress is mainly charged with making the dining experience of a customer very enjoyable\n\nJob Title: Waiter / Waitress \n\nDepartment: Finance and Operations Royal Airport Café Unit\n\nReporting to: Supervisor\n\nMain duties and responsibilities:\n\nThe position holder will perform, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:\n\nGreet and escort customers to their tables\n\n Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)\n\n Offer menu recommendations upon request\n\n Take accurate food and drinks orders, \n\n Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff\n\n Serve food and drink orders\n\n Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems\n\n Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area\n\n Deliver checks and collect bill payments\n\n Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning\n\n Follow all relevant health department regulations\n\n Provide excellent customer service to guests\n\n Perform any other tasks assigned by team leaders.\n\nRequired Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Abilities\n\nHigh School diploma\n\n Good Customer Service or Hospitality experience is an advantage\n\n Good communication skills\n\n Team spirit\n\n Attentiveness and patience for customers\n\n multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment\n\nHow to apply\n\nIf you meet all the above criteria, send in your:\n\nApplication letter addressed to Head of HR & Administration specifying the position you are applying for in English \n\nRecent Curriculum Vitae, including three referees with their personal telephone contacts and E-mail addresses;
