IT Data & Analytics interns will assist in architecting successful data solutions, delivering value, problem solving and managing changing priorities on key projects.\nThis is a hybrid internship, working three days per week in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office or downtown Madison, WI office and two days remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in June 2027.\nThe Impact You’ll Make:\nSupport data analytics, profiling, modeling, visualization, testing data solutions, data integration and delivery\n\nActively participate in team stand-ups, sprint planning and stakeholder meetings to see how data requests move from business questions to delivered insights and data solutions\n\nGain exposure to critical business data problems that help drive decisions\n\nExplore and find ways to use approved AI capabilities in daily work and projects\n\nExperience Baird’s collaborative culture that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives through teamwork and a strong sense of partnership by shadowing and mentorship from experienced team members and leaders\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to Baird:\nPursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, business analytics, information systems or related degree\n\nAnticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later\n\nExperience with data analysis, profiling, modeling, visualization, testing, integration and delivery\n\nCompleted coursework or experience with SQL, SSIS, Python, Snowflake, Fabric, cloud data AI tools and other ETL development tools\n\nPossess an interest and passion for data and a natural curiosity in understanding the application of technology and data to solve business problems\n\nOrganizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with clients and associates and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel\n\nHigh level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively\n\nAbout Our Intern Program:\nJumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!
