Read on.\nRequirements\nDue to recent changes a magnificent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer (Customer) to join a leading manufacturer of plastic parts has become available. A fantastic chance to join a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of innovative plastic solutions for residential, commercial and industrial markets worldwide.\nYou will be responsible for the customer / supplier complaints across the business operating multiple different sectors. Customer / supplier complaints will be the main focus of the role and we welcome candidates from Automotive or Aerospace sector.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEffectively and efficiently, manage all customer complaints on daily basis.\n\nLead and facilitate 8D problem-solving activities, forming cross-functional teams to investigate customer complaint and supplier issues through structured root cause analysis\n\nFirst quality contact and customer contact for all customers and suppliers claims.\n\nCommunicate 8D progress and results, preparing clear, data driven reports for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely closure in line with requirements\n\nActively Lead and Chair tasks towards successful completion of all corrective or preventive actions needed.\n\nSupport customer and internal meetings to share development status and report inwardly the customer requirements to suppliers.\n\nCross functionally works with internal departments (Sales, QA, Engineering and Production) to ensure elements are covered and cleared to agreed timescales.\n\nInterpret and communicate customer requirements within the business.\n\nFollow internal KPI for customer and supplier claims and report to higher management.\n\nSKILLS REQUIRED\nGood understanding in 8D, FAIR’s methodology and associated tools (required)\n\nExperience in dealing with customers claims and supplier audits (required)\n\nMaintaining and managing the customer and supplier complaints database.\n\nGood understanding of Control Plan, FMEA and all relevant PPAP documentation\n\nTo be able to understand and work with technical drawings, as well as dimensionally measuring plastic parts with Non-Contact measurement equipment.\n\nWorking knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO9001:2015 requirements (advantage)\n\nLean / Six Sigma (advantage)\n\nKaizen (advantage)\n\nMethodical and Process driven\n\nExcellent reporting skills and clear communication\n\nWork with minimum or no supervision\n\nEnergetic, Focussed and committed, Confident and approachable person\n\nProficient in Microsoft Windows Office\n\nWhat we offer you\nA competitive salary\n\n25 days holiday\n\nFlexible holiday buy/sell scheme\n\nRecognition and reward scheme\n\nInternal and external learning and development\n\nOn site Café (West Drayton site)\n\nEmployee Assistance Programme\n\nCycle to Work & Tech Scheme\n\nEnhanced Maternity & Partner leave\n\nReliance Worldwide Corporation Ltd is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
