This role combines hands-on fieldwork with leadership and client-facing responsibilities. You will oversee field testing programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior technicians, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and data integrity. This posting represents a currently available role.\nKey Responsibilities\nThis role includes but is not limited to:\nLead and perform on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC).\nPlan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation, and safety procedures.\nAnalyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes.\nServe as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings.\nTrain, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members.\nTroubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.\nSupport project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership.\nKeep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies.\nPrepare high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations.\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nWe are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:\nPost-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field is an asset\nA minimum of 5-years’ experience working in the Air Quality Testing field\nPractical expertise In OSTC and EPA Source testing methodologies\nStrong computer and analytical technical “hands-on” skills\nAn aptitude for practical problem-solving\nField/site experience is a definite asset\nMust have a valid driver's license.\nCandidates should also possess:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated\nAn ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with no supervision\nExceptional organizational capabilities, coordination, and consultation skills\nWillingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekends\nCollect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions\nJob Benefits\n What we offer:\nSalary: $100,000.00 - 150,000.00 depending on experience \nComprehensive Health Benefits\nOpportunities for career advancement\nTravel perks and adventure opportunities\nA supportive and inclusive workplace culture\nLearning Spending Account\nRRSP Matching\nFitness Allowance\nPerformance Bonus\nThank you in advance for your application.
