The Associate Performance Engineer will collaborate closely with O&M and Reliability Engineering teams in surfacing the issues that cause assets to underperform. The development of the analytics tools and platform will be done in close collaboration with the IT/OT department as well to ensure that the system and protocols are compatible with the IT/OT strategy and guidelines of the company. The ultimate goal of the Asset Performance Analyst is to enhance the profitability of the whole portfolio of assets by identifying underperformance and offer a perspective on possible improvement opportunities.\nRole Responsibilities:\nMonitor key performance indicators to determine the overall health and performance of assets\nAnalyse operational performance of the assets. Identify and investigate underperformance\nCollaborate with Engineering and Operations to develop and implement remediation plans\nPrioritize workload and actions with the respective teams\nValidate and support improvement of energy calculation methods\nDevelop diagnostic and predictive analysis methods using Python, R or other scripting languages\nProduce reports and dashboards to ensure information is distributed to the right stakeholders\nCollaborate closely with multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, IT/OT, Innovation and others)\nJob Requirements and Experiences:\nDegree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Environmental Science or Data Analytics from an accredited university or college\nMinimum of 1 year of engineering experience with demonstrated history in analytics activities and/or projects\nBasic understanding of renewable energy systems (Wind turbines, Photovoltaics, Storage)\nBasic understanding of operational data and energy calculation methodologies\nExperience with data analysis, design, database and visualization tools (i.e. Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Pi, Databricks) preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English language. Ability to interact with a variety of professional groups\nProject management skills desired\nAbility to work with multiple stakeholders\nWilling to travel (up to 20% of time)\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
