This role is responsible for communicating progress on team goals to executive leadership, ensuring project data quality is maintained at all times, and helping drive strategy by coordinating between developers, commercial analysis, power marketing, and interconnection teams. This role will lead M&A evaluation and new market development functions in addition to managing internal reporting and communication.\nRole Responsibilities:\nDevelop materials to support strategic decisions, market intelligence, competitive assessments, and internal approvals for project gating and investment\nBuild strategic rationale to support internal approvals and project gating decisions\nDrive origination and optimization efforts, including managing M&A development due diligence\nDevelop reports and dashboards to monitor progress against business goals and OKRs\nIdentify emerging trends and risks across target markets\nCoordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align market assumptions\nForecast and communicate upcoming regional approvals and obligations to leadership\nCoordinate regional budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring QA/QC of inputs and developing budget reports\nImplement strategic tools, standards, and best practices across the development organization\nJob Requirements and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree\nM.S. in Data Science, Energy Policy, Finance preferred\nMinimum 5 years renewable energy development experience, preferably in WECC and CAISO\nDemonstrated history of communication with executive leadership \nStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage internal and external customer relationships \nDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space \nExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams \nStrong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines \nStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables \nAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team \nMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities \nProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds \nResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable \nIs detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts \nThis position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWEA offices and field locations\nMust be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
