This role focuses primarily on HVAC system design within an integrated design-build environment.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign and engineer full HVAC systems for healthcare facilities\n\nPerform site visits to assess existing MEP/HVAC systems\n\nDevelop HVAC layouts, zoning diagrams, and system plans\n\nConduct mechanical code research and ensure compliance\n\nProduce 3D HVAC and piping models in Revit\n\nManage multiple projects across various design phases\n\nRequirements\n7+ years of mechanical engineering experience (HVAC-focused)\n\nBachelors Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering\n\nStrong Revit proficiency\n\nExperience with commercial buildings (healthcare preferred)\n\nPlumbing experience a plus, but not required\n\nPE license is required\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.\n\nBasic knowledge of the following areas:\nNFPA standards\n\nComputer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing\n\nTechnical Submittal reviewing process Bid reviewing process\n\nMicrosoft Office Suite\n\nBluebeam Revu\n\nLEED AP certified professional experienced in obtaining LEED’s certification for industrial buildings.\n\nExtensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred.\n\nInternational Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes\n\nASHRAE Handbooks / Standards\n\nASPE design handbooks\n\nBenefits\nHealth/Dental/Vision insurance\n401k with company match\nLong-term/short-term disability\nLife Insurance\nPTO\nPaid holidays\nRecruiter/Agency Policy:\nRWE Design Build is not accepting submissions from outside recruiters or staffing agencies for this position.
