You will work closely with maintenance technicians and operational teams to achieve operational, technical and commercial targets.\nAbout the role\nTake responsibility for day-to-day Control & Instrumentation maintenance.\nMonitor system performance proactively while maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.\nOwn maintenance compliance with relevant plant and equipment policies and procedures.\nEnsure plant and equipment comply with operational process safety requirements.\nDevelop and enhance Local Maintenance Strategies in line with the agreed Asset Strategy.\nPlan C&I work scopes for outages and deliver them within the allocated timeframe.\nProvide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians and operational teams.\nManage budgets, control costs and drive innovation to improve business performance continuously.\nOversee contractors for routine activities and specific projects, ensuring safe working practices and quality control.\nParticipate in out-of-hours call-outs for breakdown response and operational support.\nJob requirements and experience\nHNC, HND or degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.\nMembership of a relevant professional body such as the IET.\nExtensive industrial experience with control and instrumentation systems.\nHigh level of plant-specific technical knowledge and competence within the relevant discipline.\nSenior technician-level maintenance expertise with the ability to direct and support technical activities.\nExperience managing complex plant issues and advising operations, maintenance and engineering teams.\nDemonstrable knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, regulations and directives.\nStrong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder groups.\nMethodical, analytical and well-organised approach with strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to manage changing priorities.\nStrong team-working skills and the ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.\nRWE is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment - we value your passion, your willingness to learn and your desire to thrive.
