Working in an international environment across locations and markets, you will be based in Essen on Europe’s largest energy trading floor, at the heart of RWE Supply & Trading’s commercial business.\nAbout the role\nProvide first-class personal and team assistant support across Gas Origination, Gas Portfolio Management and Structured Origination including diary, email, meeting management, and overall planning of internal and external meetings.\nPlan and organise business travel and settlement of travel expenses.\nMonitor budget control and analysis for the teams and contribute to overall cost efficiency.\nPrepare documents and presentations (Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint) in English and, where required, German.\nPlan and organise team events and offsites, including content to further support and grow our team spirit and culture.\nAct as a key point of coordination across the three teams, supporting effective organisation, communication and collaboration.\nContribute to or run projects to improve processes, efficiency and continuous improvement\nTake on additional tasks and projects in line with business needs and own individual growth plans.\nJob requirements and experience\nHighly intrinsically motivated and committed, flexible in approach to work, with the capacity to adapt to a challenging and changing work environment and deadlines.\nAbility to work in a busy environment without constant supervision and to prioritise and organise work effectively, ensuring excellent attention to detail.\nStrong team player with excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders.\nVery sound skills in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to write and/or update presentations and papers for submission up to Board level.\nAbility to communicate effectively with tact and discretion in English, both in written and verbal formats, with management and staff at all levels within the RWE Group and externally.\nA highly flexible, proactive and resourceful approach, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality and the ability to proactively identify solutions to problems.\nOpen-minded and eager to develop, grow and continuously improve oneself and the teams.\nRWE is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment - we value your passion, your willingness to learn and your desire to thrive.
