OT experience is preferred but not required; strong enterprise networking or network security experience with exposure to industrial or operational environments is acceptable.\nThe role focuses on hands-on implementation and support, while cybersecurity architecture, governance, policy, formal risk acceptance, and regulatory interpretation remain with the appropriate cybersecurity and governance teams.\nRole Responsibilities:\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related network infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across operational sites\nSupport routing, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall policies, and secure remote access by analyzing technical requirements and implementing approved configurations\nMonitor network performance, device health, logs, and security events to identify issues, determine root cause, and support timely resolution\nTroubleshoot network, firewall, VPN, segmentation, and application connectivity issues using structured analysis, diagnostic tools, and operational data\nImplement approved firewall rules, security profiles, and access controls to support least-privilege access and reduce operational security risk\nPerform firmware upgrades, patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation to maintain supported, secure, and compliant network infrastructure\nSupport network and cybersecurity incident response by analyzing events, identifying contributing factors, and implementing corrective actions\nExecute network and security changes through established change-management processes, including impact analysis, testing, validation, documentation, and rollback planning\nSupport commissioning, expansion, and technology refresh activities by integrating network and security infrastructure into new and existing operational sites\nMaintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, IP addressing, firewall documentation, and equipment inventories to support operations, troubleshooting, and audit requirements\nCollaborate with SCADA, field operations, infrastructure, vendors, and OT Cybersecurity teams to translate operational and security requirements into reliable technical solutions\nIdentify opportunities to improve reliability, security, monitoring, automation, and standardization by analyzing recurring issues, operational trends, and technical performance\nJob Requirements and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, industry certifications, and relevant professional experience\nCandidates should demonstrate relevant hands-on experience, formal training, or industry certification. Certifications are preferred but may be substituted with equivalent technical knowledge and practical experience\nMinimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, network security, infrastructure, telecommunications, or related technologies\nExperience supporting distributed, remote, industrial, utility, manufacturing, or operational environments preferred\nOT, SCADA, or ICS experience preferred but not required; strong enterprise networking or security experience with demonstrated ability to learn OT environments will be considered\nExperience with Cisco switching, routing, wireless, or network services; CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience preferred\nExperience with Palo Alto Networks, and exposure to Fortinet firewalls, including security policy, VPN, threat prevention, or secure connectivity; relevant certification or equivalent experience preferred\nFamiliarity with network segmentation, secure remote access, monitoring, and network-management platforms\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or ISO 27001\nEquivalent experience with comparable enterprise networking and security technologies will be considered\nFunctions independently with limited oversight\nOwns assigned technical activities from planning through implementation, validation, and documentation\nMay lead individual technical workstreams or site activities\nMay mentor junior staff but does not have formal personnel-management responsibility\nStrategic thinker with strong operational execution skills\nDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space Sets enterprise-wide OT standards, governance, and best practices\nCommitment to safety, resilience, and regulatory readiness\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
