In this role, you will shape procurement strategies, manage tendering and negotiations, and secure commercially robust solutions, including packages delivered on an EPCI basis.\nAbout the role\nLead the development of procurement strategies for global offshore projects.\nCoordinate with supporting functions and project teams to prepare RFI and RFQ documentation for EPCI, transport and installation, and decommissioning requirements.\nEvaluate RFQ responses on a total cost of ownership basis, considering package interfaces and potential portfolio synergies.\nLead commercial and legal negotiations with support from the legal team.\nMonitor market developments and challenges to inform corporate-wide strategies.\nBuild and maintain relationships with key supplier contacts.\nCoach junior vessel procurement team members to support their development and enable best-in-class performance.\nJob requirements and experience\nSignificant experience in procurement, commercial management or contract management.\nComprehensive experience in sourcing and negotiating high-value, high-risk contracts.\nProven ability to assess commercial risks and minimise impacts on projects and the wider portfolio.\nHighly proficient written and spoken English communication skills.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally in line with business needs.\nAdvantageous, but not essential\nExperience gained in offshore wind or offshore construction, particularly within the maritime sector.\nExtensive practical knowledge of BIMCO, FIDIC and LOGIC contracting forms for offshore construction.\nAn offer of employment in this role may require active National Security Vetting at SC level or the ability to obtain it.
