To start as soon as possible, full time / part time, permanent

In this role, you will shape and drive RWE Supply & Trading GmbH’s (RWEST) approach to identifying, developing and engaging talent across the organisation. Focusing on leadership potentials below executive level, expert talent, early talent and business-critical talent groups, you will build strong and sustainable talent pipelines aligned with current and future business needs.

You will take strategic ownership of our talent development portfolio, translating business and people priorities into clear talent approaches, development journeys and scalable solutions. Working closely with Global People Partners, Leadership Development, senior business stakeholders and other HR teams, you will connect talent identification, development and succession while ensuring clear ownership across these areas.

As part of the HR People & Organisational Development team in the Global Human Resources division, you will play a key role in delivering our people strategy and continuously evolving how RWEST develops talent in an international and fast-moving business environment.

About the role

  • Talent Development Strategy & Portfolio Ownership: Shape and continuously evolve RWEST’s talent development strategy and portfolio for leadership potentials, expert talent, early talent and business-critical talent groups, aligned with business priorities, future capability needs and our people strategy.
  • Talent Identification & Reviews: Lead structured approaches to identifying talent and potential, including selection and assessment processes, talent discussions and translating insights into meaningful development actions in partnership with relevant HR teams.
  • Talent Pipelines & Succession: Build visibility of critical talent populations and strengthen sustainable pipelines for future leadership, expert and business-critical roles; partner with Leadership Development and succession stakeholders to connect development with future opportunities.
  • Development Architecture & Journeys: Design differentiated development approaches combining structured programmes, experiential learning, mentoring, networking, exposure and individual development opportunities to address both individual potential and organisational capability needs.
  • Strategic Programme Leadership: Own and evolve key talent formats such as the E-Level Programme, Leadership Essentials Programme and Traders Training, setting strategic direction and quality standards while ensuring programmes remain relevant, scalable and impactful.
  • Business & Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and HR colleagues, translating business challenges and future capability requirements into effective talent solutions and career development opportunities.
  • Talent Engagement & Career Development: Create meaningful development and career experiences that strengthen capability, engagement and retention, while enabling talent to build networks, organisational exposure and ownership of their development.
  • Impact, Innovation & Governance: Define success measures, use talent data and feedback to assess impact and continuously improve the portfolio. Introduce innovative and scalable approaches, including digital and AI-supported learning, and establish effective governance to ensure high-quality delivery and participant experience.
