The Sr Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the master data accuracy supporting the inventory, ensuring the right part is available at the time, and assisting site operations with managing warranty claims.\nRole Responsibilities:\nCreate Purchase Requisitions for all goods needed for site and Balance of Plan (BOP) operations and maintenances in region\nPerform all inventory movements in SAP\nAbility to support multiple sites with minimal assistance\nPerform Quarterly counts and maintain accurate inventory level percentages\nAnalyzes product usage and adjusts MRP as appropriate with operations consent to optimize inventory levels\nLearn and utilize the Product Life Cycle Management process\nDemonstrate strong safety culture mindset\nKeep accurate master data information uploaded\nPerform all shipping/receiving duties\nReview open orders from suppliers and communicate ship dates to necessary parties (risk report) while building relationships with external vendors\nTrack serialized components and resolve discrepancies within inventory records\nGenerate inventory and logistics reports using SAP\nEnsure accurate tracking and reconciliation of spare part inventory using SAP PM/MM\nRequest new part creation and extensions as needed\nSupport adequate record of all inventory levels at assigned locations in SAP MM and accurate bin locations\nBecomes familiar and remains current regarding the necessary parts and material for maintenances at responsible sites\nPerforms daily/monthly inspections and observations at perspective site(s)\nIs a liaison between OEM and Site operations for sites under warranty\nManages warranty claims for sites under warranty\nWorks independently with occasional guidance\nAll other duties assigned\nJob Requirements and Experience:\nMinimum 1 year experience preferred in Material Management in SAP MM or similar maintenance system\nHigh School diploma required; Associates or higher in business or technical preferred\nTypical work hours are from 7-3:30 with potential to change dependent on workload\nExpected travel 5-10 Weeks of the year and you may be required to fill in at multiple (nearby) worksites\nMust be able to work in extreme temperatures\nMust possess excellent written and oral communication skills\nCandidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of personnel and departments, vendors and able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment\nSafety- Promote safety for all at all times\nInitiative - Able to work with minimum supervision and make decisions for all issues related to his/her discipline(s) with limited and/or available information\nTechnical/Functional Knowledge - Strong understanding of inventory processes, familiar with Excel and able to become certified and maintain the ability to operate a forklift and become CPR and first aid certified. Minimum intermediate Office Suite computer skills and knowledge\nProblem Solving - Ability to research and correct invoicing issues, inventory discrepancies, and goods issue/goods receipt, be able to follow prepared work instructions, sourcing other parts with the aid of procurement and engineering\nFlexibility - Adjust readily to changes in direction and work priorities while working efficiently to complete assigned tasks and achieve goals\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
