Curious?\nAbout the role\nGain practical experience across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying suitable suppliers to contract preparation and supplier relationship management.\nSupport buying requirements by working closely with stakeholders and Procurement Managers to understand business needs.\nPrepare and evaluate tender documents throughout the procurement process.\nBuild Requests for Information and Requests for Quotations using the e-tendering tool.\nAnalyse tender submissions and prepare price comparisons to support commercial decisions.\nAssist with supplier contract preparation and contract review meetings.\nOrganise internal and external meetings as part of day-to-day procurement activities.\nDevelop commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with the opportunity to progress towards negotiating a contract independently.\nJob requirements and experience\nOngoing studies in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Law, Engineering or a similar discipline.\nEligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree programme.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills combined with good IT skills.\nAbility to organise workloads, manage priorities and meet deadlines.\nConfidence working in a diverse team environment and engaging with a range of stakeholders.\nAvailability to work from an operational site three days per week and travel to other sites when required, with agreed travel to other sites covered but travel to and from the base site excluded.\nMotivation is crucial; your cover letter will tell us why you´re a suitable candidate for this opportunity, and how it aligns with your studies & career plans.\nA minimum of five years’ residence in the UK due to the potential requirement for National Security Vetting.\nPlease refer to the UK Government's National Security Vetting guidance for further details and eligibility requirements.\nYour benefits\nA salary aligned with the Real Living Wage.\nThe opportunity to contribute actively to the Growing Green mission.\nHands-on experience as a core team member working alongside global colleagues.\nMentoring and a development programme with other interns across the business.\nMeaningful involvement in key projects from day one, supporting the development of marketable skills.\nAn environment where fresh perspectives and new ideas are welcomed.\nComprehensive professional training, including a Global Wind Organisation certificate, Wind Turbine Safety Rules training and in-house technical training.\nThis position is aimed at those currently studying who are eligible for a Year in Industry Placement.
